LCARE is a UK-registered professional training college focused exclusively on short, applied certificate programmes for working professionals — grounded in evidence, practical in design, and honest about where we are in our journey.
London College of Applied Research and Education Ltd (LCARE) is a private limited company incorporated in England and Wales (Company No. 17203715). We are a professional training college with a clear and focused purpose: delivering short, high-quality certificate programmes in applied, vocational, and emerging professional disciplines — entirely online, for working professionals worldwide.
We are not an aspiring university. We do not plan to offer traditional degree programmes, and we are deliberate about this. The education landscape has enough universities. What it lacks is high-quality, short-form professional training at the intersection of emerging disciplines — applied research, simulation pedagogy, digital finance, and more — that can be completed alongside a career.
LCARE exists to fill that gap: rigorous without being burdensome, professional without being academic, and completely transparent about what we are and what we are not.
To deliver practically-focused, evidence-informed short certificate programmes that give professionals across all sectors the knowledge and credentials they need — without the time, cost, or institutional overhead of traditional academic education.
To become a recognised and trusted name in professional certificate education — known for the quality of our programmes, the clarity of our communication, and the real-world impact our learners experience. In time, as our UKPRN registration is confirmed and our portfolio grows, LCARE will establish itself as a go-to provider for professionals seeking credible, applied short-form learning.
At this stage, LCARE is a UK-registered company that is actively applying for UKPRN (UK Provider Reference Number) registration — the formal step required to appear on the UK Register of Learning Providers and deliver accredited learning. Our programmes are designed, our curriculum frameworks are in development, and our team is building the infrastructure required to deliver excellent online learning experiences.
We are not yet enrolling. We are completely open about this. Professionals who register their interest now will be the first to know when enrolment opens — and may have the opportunity to shape our early programme design through feedback and consultation.
This organisation was originally incorporated on 7 May 2026 as London School of Applied Research and Innovation Ltd (trading as LSARI). Following a special resolution passed by the members on 21 May 2026, the company's name was formally changed to London College of Applied Research and Education (LCARE) Ltd.
The Certificate of Incorporation on Change of Name was issued by the Registrar of Companies for England and Wales on 22 May 2026, under the Companies Act 2006. The company number — 17203715 — remains unchanged.

Short does not mean shallow. LCARE's programmes are built on solid evidence and designed with the same intellectual rigour you would expect from a credible educational institution.
We are completely open about our current status. We are a registered company applying for UKPRN — not yet a licensed provider. We will never overclaim what we are.
All LCARE programmes are designed for online delivery from the ground up — not adapted from classroom content. Flexible, global, and accessible from anywhere.
LCARE is at the beginning of its journey. We are building credibility through quality, communication, and integrity — not through exaggerated claims or premature promises.
We treat our learners as intelligent, capable professionals. Our programmes do not talk down — they meet people where they are and take them further.
The UK has excellent universities. LCARE is not trying to compete with them, emulate them, or eventually become one. We occupy a different and deliberately chosen position: a professional training college that does one thing well — short, applied certificate programmes for people who are already working and need to learn fast.
